EU Aid Volunteers brings together volunteers and organisations from different countries, providing support to humanitarian projects and contributing to strengthening the local capacity and resilience of disaster-affected communities

The initiative is open to the participation of citizens, non-profit organizations and public institutions based in Europe or outside of the EU, where humanitarian operations are carried out.

Alianza por la Solidaridad, the first Spanish NGO certified as sending organisation under the EU Aid Volunteers Initiaitve, has been committed with the initiative since the pilot phase back in 2012

MANAGEMENT OF SECURITY IN CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANISATIONS

The Security Guide is framed in the project Empowerment of Local Capacities for Humanitarian Volunteering in Latin America and the Caribbean – CB4AID, which is part of the Aid Volunteers Initiative of the European Union.
