HOW IS AN ORGANISATION CERTIFIED?

The certification process is carried out by a self-assessment, based on evidence, where the organization must recognize their shortcomings and areas of improvement that may require technical assistance in order to completely fulfill quality standards.

The following steps for the certification process include:

Read the call for applications for certification and corresponding guidelines.

Registration in the participant portal to obtain a participant identification code (PIC).

Completion of documented self-assessment form (form available in English, Spanish and French).

Send the self-assessment form and attachments (Honor declaration, mandatory and optional evidence documents) by email: EACEA-EUAID-Volunteers@ec.europa.eu

Certification requests may be presented in any of the official languages of the European Union, utilizing the mandatory forms available on the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) website.

The call for certification will be open until 30 September, 2020.

Organizations may present their requests at any time of the year.
